Well, I will disagree to an extent. Look up Franklin’s record vs teams in the top 10.

I believe it’s something like 1-15. Something crazy to that extent.

It was always a setup. Its starts preseason when they put all the SEC teams in the top 10.

You knew the fix was in when Heather Dinich was lobbying for a 3 loss SEC team before Alabama had 3 losses. She works for ESPN and is the spokesperson for the CFP committee. Talk about conflict of interest.

The week before the horrible Alabama loss to Oklahoma, the CFP committee promoted Alabama 3 spots for beating FCS Mercer. I knew right then it was a setup fot thr SEC. The next week they lose to Oklahoma 24-3. Had they not been promoted the previous week, they would have been out of the CFP dropping to 14th-16th range.

I’m not sure how any rationale human doesn’t understand the HUGE advantage of pre season polls that favor traditional teams

If they wanted to have a true playoff
No rankings until Halloween!

That way every team will have had atleast 1-2 road games and 3+ conference games
And NO ONE will get bs credit for beating a top 10 team…ex GT beating FSU….

Then you can evaluate all teams w a resume versus reputation

As I said in the other thread. Bama is locked in. Beating the SEC champ is a guaranteed spot. This is win or go home for the ACC.
