Commit watch

Here's a quote from Felix's Head Coach Siriani:

"The big thing about him is he's so versatile," Sirianni said. "He can run routes like a receiver, catches the ball like a receiver. Now he's grown into that size back that by the time he's in college he'll be able to do everything including run between the tackles. He verticals over 40 inches, 43 at the last Nike combine. He's a 300-plus bencher, 400-pound squatter. At the US Army combine he broad jumped and they had the tape out there set up to 11 feet and he really jumped out of the grid, got 10'9 but half his foot was past the tape.

Siriani also listed him at 6'1" 189lbs???

sign him up!

Good Lord! Felix is a complete natural. Great speed and elite vision and explosiveness. Would be a huge get.

anyone know what position the coaches want felix at?
He's being recruited by Brown & Richt, plus according to an article I read he spent his time on campus talking to the RB's. That would be my guess.

After yesterday, these prospects are on "commit watch"

[PLAYER]806[/PLAYER]
[PLAYER]372[/PLAYER]
[PLAYER]804[/PLAYER]
[PLAYER]371[/PLAYER]

Can safely say Miami leads for those four right now. I expect commitments relatively soon
That was March. Are we still on commit watch? Have any of these guys cooled on us or us on them?

According to Pedro we're not recruiting wright or wilder anymore. Lead for Carter basically. And Felix seems to be a backup plan to Mcfarland and Burns.

I can see Felix in the Sony Michel role.....RB who can flex out wide and run routes. That way, he can get on the field as much as possible even with another RB in the backfield.

Appears to me the staff bringing the guys they really want and doing a damned fine job of getting serious consideration and commitments.

I like Daley better, but Jordan Wright has been blowing up with Geo and the boys. Obviously with the staff too.
Wilder needs no introduction. Commitments from him and Lakeland's Miller would be huge.
I like Wright better, but Amari Carter ain't no joke plus we got Gibson 2017 and Frierson 2018.
Darrian Felix would give us that long run threat.

Loving recruiting again!

Travis Homer and Trayone Gray both have the speed to be a long run threat at RB.

People here sleeping on homer that boy can play

Who is?

Ive seen some posts, he needs to be talked about more i feel people dont see that hes elite

He looks good not great thats my opinion

Makes zero sense for a kid as talented as Felix to be a backup plan. If you can get him on board now you take him. End of story.

I agree but so can McFarland. Hes actually played WR at most camps. But still you take both. I feel like we should do like bama and sign everyone we can and then figure it out later

What dont you like about him?

He's put together well but he doesnt change directions at full speed and his first step isnt the quickest...he has long speed though reminds me of a faster MArk Walton but still missing that first step xplosion.. HE can still be good very good we will see if he maximizes his talent
