Rumph better be a **** of a technical coach because so far he has been absolutely useless as a recruiter.

So recruiting kids for a month when other recruiters rrecruited the sane kidsdfor years shows he's useless? I swear some of you guys make it so obvious that you'reclueless as ffaras recruiting

Why are you giving Rumph a pass?

way to early to write him off which seems to be what most people are doing.

I'm fine with giving him time. Nothing wrong with that, but...

That said, there are a few things people "writing him off" tend to focus on from my observation -
- inexperienced coach
- perception of pushing people away from Miami (I don't care about Al Golden blah blah blah)
- his fuzzy memory of when Sony was offered by Miami on public airwaves
- his "I won't take no for an answer" self-proclamation

This whole staff deserves time before judgment, but Rumph appeared to many to be brought on for his local connections and specifically his own player pipeline, so I can understand why people are a little less patient with him overall.

I think Miami getting their asses blown out by Clemson is hard to cover up. I don't care how good of a recruiter you are. There's no doubt if Miami puts a better product on the field this year. We will get most. Kids want to stay home and play for the home team. But a winning home team.

He coaches these kids for 3 or 4 years muahahahh again look at Harbaugh the diffrence

Lying about the timing of Sony's offer didn't pass the smell test. Something shady was going on with Rumph and his kids while he was at AH. It's all starting to add up now. I just don't think some of our fans like what it adds up to.................

The staff wasn't going to the school or recruiting his players. Of course he was probably ****ed being that he is a alum.

You have sec schools and fsu going after your guys but miami isn't even giving them offers. So you should be able to understand if rumph and the players was a little ****ed by it.

Who has Rumph missed on at AH so far that we have offered? I don't think we hard after Burns because they knew Burns and his family was committed to FSU before Rumph came on board. Of course Slaton is bad news, but things can change given the time frame. I remember a fella named Dabo Sweeney whose team got blown out in the Orange Bowl, but was able to recoup and now has his team on top. Don't be so fast to condemn after 2 months on the job.

At what point do you stop giving rumph a pass? I kind of give him a pass for this recruiting cycle but something doesn't seem right with his recruiting. What if we get shut out at AH again this coming year? Will you change your tune?
