Collins visiting Arkansas on the 25th

So he is going to visit Arkansas. He is a stand up guy and he de-committed to make sure he makes the right decision. He told us right away what his intentions were and didn't pull any slick ****. It looks to me that he is doing a solid for his coach and taking a visit to Arkansas; there's nothing wrong with that. His coach has done a lot for him and the reality is, it's the least he can do for him. I think it's still between us and FSU. Some of You guys are acting like a bunch of Mayans with the world is ending because he's taking a visit, just relax.

Average weather in Fayettville in January:

High: 46°F
Low: 26°F
Mean: 36°F

Enjoy your visit, Alex. Then come home to the NFL factory program in your back yard and get a world class degree. See you in Coral Gables. Get ready to win big.

Randy and McDonald will work Collins over hard but my God even Jimmy Johnson doesn't want to be in Arkansas. Huge mistake my Beliema to go there, they won't compete with the big boys Arkansas is a secondary SEC program. Collins will have a 3 year and on to the NFL career at Miami. Arkansas would be one on the last places I go if I were him.

It's pretty obvious the kid doesn't want to be here.
I think it's obvious that he is having a hard time putting the U behind him. He has been pressured from day 1 by everyone around him but we're still in it. I have a feeling in my gut that he will be ours and will committ before NSD.

To be honest I'm not liking this... These dudes know how to recruit running backs and they have a lot of cash to throw around.

Bielema ain't about that life. He's a Big Ten good ole boy. He don't know nothing about no brown paper bags.

Unless one of them boosters done coached him up.

He's a snake. Don't be fooled by the dopey gumpy exterior.

Just seems like he's looking for a reason not to attend Miami, I truely believe this NCAA cloud is affecting him. And lulz at the people that say were gonna skate, we've already been ****ed for two years now.

Recruiting isn't for the faint of heart, and it isn't for quitters. We may not sign this kid, but we are not going down without a fight on this kid.

I think there's one thing Arkansas can offer him that neither UM or FSU can- the opportunity to be the #1 guy from the jump. That's a huge opportunity, and if you're an elite RB, you want the chance to start right away and get out in 3 years. McFadden, Jones, Hillis and DJ Williams are all making that NFL dollar and Knile Davis will be drafted this year. Not like Arky is an unknown quantity in this area, and Bielema has a track record of putting RBs in the show, plus his entire offensive philosophy is centered around pounding the other team on the ground.

Perhaps he's just doing his coach a favor and that's fine, but if he's serious about wanting to play immediately and not have to beat down stiffer positional competition, getting in on the ground floor with the Hogs is a ****** good idea. If I was him, this would be one helluva tough decision with my financial future at stake.

You and your logical thinking....can go somewhere else.....CANE

Duke isn't a 25 carry/game RB. Collins can come in here and play as much as he would at Arkansas. I'm sure there are some RBs on that roster, and Brett Bullsh1t will sign a couple this cycle.

Ok, and outside of losing some schollies (5-8 per year?), what more is going to be done in the next few years that will affect Collins' time here? MAYBE (which I highly doubt) one more bowl ban? We've already served most of our punishment IMO.

Everyone says that about duke but the kid absolutely carried his team to state title getting 25+ i know this is much tougher competition but lets not act like he's a special back that can't be counted on for 25 plus. kid can do it all

You cant compare HS football to college ball. The hits are much worse and take a toll on you throughout a season. Duke will probably be running kickoffs back again as well. You can run him into the ground with no back up
