Well its not just one player Michigan is like #17 in the rankings. Kids dont wanna here that come here for this nice block of ice in January and love of the big house
Correct so Colins is a huge loss for them. But some think he’s not the splash recruit we were hoping for? Where do people develop that level of lunacy?

6’7, 254 DE flips from Michigan. Converted basketball player with 7-foot wingspan, 10-inch hands and verified 4.2 shuttle. Originally from Ghana and moved to Rancho San Margarita for high school.

Our staff has compared him to Greg Rousseau. Missed some time this season with injury, but here is his 3-game highlight for this season.

Dude has a really impressive motor. For a dude with such physically freaky gifts, he puts forth maximum effort. Welcome to the U, Collins!!!!

He never even played a snap of football in his life. But came to America and Started varsity as a freshman.
I dont care about the comp. When you have that size and are able to make varsity and put up stats it speaks of a very high ceiling and that he’s coachable. You can’t just miracle a dude that tall to play football and be physical and learn the nuances of a position. He said he never even watched American football in Africa.
He had to learn the rules, playbook, offenses etc.
Has anyone ever tried to teach the rules to a foreigner? Now imagine putting them on the field too.
Also, if I’m not mistaken Cristobal was one of his first offers back at Oregon.

Teaching foreigners gridiron football is ****. I tried for a year to teach mine the rules, do not recommend.

I'll take it lol. I was expecting bigger fish to be honest.

@Jaxson Villain is not a nole. He's being a pessimistic at the moment because this season was dogsh1t and it is understandably difficult to reconcile recruiting wins with on-field performance. Plus, with prior staffs, this would be the grand finale and there's be a whimper across the NSD finish line (or worse).

That said, in this moment, he is wrong. And not just wrong on the upcoming recruiting wins, but wrong to unnecessarily bring negativity into a recruitment thread (which is, typically, a place for celebration). Doesn't make him a POS nole, though.
That's fine but he had to go "Michigan probably dropped him" and that feels like something different than being pessimistic or negative JMO
