and if Bama beats GA, no way Bama should be left out of the playoff

SEC Champ, would have beaten the #1 team

If somehow Ohio St stayed ahead of Bama that would be ridiculous

Id even argue GA should still get in at #4 but that wouldnt happen

I think UGA would stay ahead of OSU if they lost a close game to Bama.

Texas loses, FSU loses, Bama loses

Ohio back doors it again

Even though Id argue that a one loss Washington team is more deserving should Oregon win
You are correct OSU would get in. Will never happen though.

Washington has more ranked wins and the better win against Oregon. If they don’t get blown out this weekend they should be the 4th team in that never gonna happen chaos scenario.

Idc about the metrics. SOR and SOS are so skewed. ND sucks, PSU hasn’t beaten anyone good and is ranked 10th. The PAC 12 is better than the B10.

My biggest complaint with the committee is the subjectivity of it. They’ll take eye test for one team, metrics for one and ranked wins/best loss for the others. How the **** can Oregon be ranked ahead of Texas? It makes no sense based on anything. Thank god the 12 team playoff takes the BS away for the most part.

I am hoping for a Bama win just to watch the shills use their last shred of dignity to look in the camera and claim UGA should still get in bc they only lost once in 3 years while simultaneously claiming Texas’ win at Bama doesn’t mean as much bc it was early and Bama has gotten better.

and how is Ohio ahead of both Texas and Bama both of which are playing for Conference titles

Ohio for all intents and purposes had its Conference title game last weekend and lost. They shouldnt benefit, again, sitting home while others play one week later

As for Penn St, agree, they arent 10 and havent won any big games since Franklin has been there

Same with Washington/Oregon. You’re basically saying Washington’s win earlier in the year means less than a possible Oregon win on Saturday. Don’t get me wrong I think Oregon is the better team, but Washington is now getting penalized for possibly losing later in the year. 4 teams was a mistake. Too many variables that don’t line up choosing those 4. It should’ve went from 2 to 8 or 12.

The committee has been lucky this years scenario hasn’t come into play before outside of 2014, where Zeke saved all their asses and willed OSU to the title, when they jumped Baylor and TCU for the 4 spot.

And to your point I agree

Ohio Sts resume isnt that great. A win vs a 3 loss ND team and 2 loss Penn St team and the usual gauntlet of bad Big Ten teams

Better chance I wake up with a foot long **** than the SEC runner up being left out of the playoff.

All SEC coaches know there’s a 0.00% chance that would ever happen.

Love Lane but that is a ridiculous statement.
Yeah makes zero sense. The SEC and B1G Champ and Runner ups are locked in CFP.

I don’t believe this at all. If Bama makes the title game against Texas (which is currently the most likely scenario) and loses, they aren’t getting in with 3 losses. Ole Miss doesn’t get in with 3 losses either.

***Assuming Texas and everybody else atop the SEC wins out (except A&M bc they play Texas) and Bama loses to Texas in SEC title.

Texas
UGA
Ole Miss
Tenn
OSU
Oregon
PSU
ACC winner
ND
B12 winner
G5
The following teams could be in before 3 loss Bama
-2 loss SMU/Miami depending on ACC title score
-Clemson if they blow out SC
-Indiana depending on OSU score (if they win they’re in and OSU is as well)

If Alabama goes to the title game vs Texas and loses and has 3 losses, then doesn’t make the CFP after being considered in the 12 team field going in, I will delete my account and never post here again.
