Agree, always thought Bethel was a 2 year project anyway. Hopefully he can contribute in the return game.

The kid just isn't impressive especially for a grad transfer. We're good here we're not Rutgers who'd desperately need a player like him

This portal is like being in wal-mart with a list and you see these awesome things you bruhcan't don't need on their end caps and you contemplate on whether you should get it or not.

Facts, kids like tate martell, bubba bolden, asa Martin , Jaelan Phillips(if he comes) etc you take all day though
 
I do think we need 1 more body at CB. I’d prefer a recruit but after the dust settles if we have a ship open then why not fill it with a 1 year rental?

All these 1-year rentals combined with the seniors we have and possible juniors going to the draft It seems like we will have a ton of spots open next year and will have to take a big 2020 class
 
You guys do realize the depth at cb is thin right? If Emerson comes, that gives Miami 6 safeties which is good but would need 1-2 cbs. Since there aren't many cb targets out there, they need a transfer or two.
 
The young local kids should obviously be the priority but the diva mentality of younger kids should result in us bringing in everyone we can.

We might just be window-shopping....you know like when you were a little boy and your mom dragged you along with her to mall, saying she had to shop, and all she did was spend hours looking just at women's clothes and stuff, and you're getting antsy and bored, and she just tells you to stop being cranky. But she wastes all your valuable time because she just does this routine for hours, never buys anything. You could been out running around the streets with your friends. They call this "window shopping."

(If you're a grown up man you put up with her shopping trips because you know this is the price you have to pay if you want to get the rewards later.)

or nowadays, you go to Amsterdam as an unmarried man, and have to look in the windows, not knowing which one to select, 'cause once you go with one you know you can't then go with another one. You'll be finished for the night.

This latter one is probably closer to our situation now. Gotta be careful and choosy, 'cause you can only do so many.

The portal is much like the Amsterdam Red Light District.
