One thing about those highlights is that his throwing motion is super flexible. He is throwing every ball at a different angle. Not making a talent comparison here, but the flexible throwing motion is Mahomes-esque. But the constant attempts at making throws in those angles is probably the reason for the low accuracy numbers. It seems like this can be fixed with proper footwork coaching.
One thing to remember about his accuracy numbers also, is that I believe I read he would be 16 when he steps on campus next year. So does that mean he was like 13 his freshman season? 14 his sophomore season? 15 this upcoming season?
If true, thats just ridiculous. Kid is a take all day for me. He will need to redshirt and sit an extra year probably, but potential is sky high.
Also, in college, idc about size of qb. Kyle Murray, Baker Mayfield, Bryce Young, and the list goes on. They can ball out even if they're short in college.
