Coley Running The Golden Offense...

I called this in the beginning and said it is the best case. Coley doesn't have a play book, he learned Jimbo's and then game planned off of that. Where as Jedd installed his own play book built over the years, not to mention Coley will only be here two or 3 years at THE VERY most, so why would you rebuild a Ferrari into a mustang.

Great Executive move by golden this guy was brought in to recruit and This was also Mario's guy remember that.

Coley stated he's learning the playbook. That means he isn't implementing his own playbook. That also means Golden designed a playbook for him to learn and Fisch used to do just that for NFL franchises.

No offensive coordinator is truly going to just run the last guys offense. Coley is going to implement his offense based on an overall philosophy golden provides. He is learning what we called plays so that any of the same plays he wants to run will continue to be called the same thing as to not confuse the kids. He has coached mostly under pro style guys so it isn't like he isn't going to run a lot of the same concepts

No, that's not what Coley stated and I'll choose to believe the OC rather than you. Coley is learning the offense and will be running the Golden Hurricane offense. He may add to it or take away from it based on personnel but this offense will be the one we've been running since Golden got here. Sure, Coley may call a different game depending on down and distance but he's running the system and playbook Jedd and Golden designed.

This is great news IMO. Make it easier for the players. Our offense can be scary good this year.........
