they gave more money. Not sure why anyone would think going to Georgia would give you more targets.
I remember reading he asked us to match & we declined. Not sure how high Miami really was on him.they gave more money. I dont think our offense was settled with a qb and dude chase the clout.

he won’t outperform his stats from last year
Whew, buddy.I was high on Young back in 2022 for a few games, then he faded and was mostly a nonfactor. Thought he'd broken out after that A&M game ago, only to be super disappointed in his play for the vast majority of the remaining games. He rarely fought for the ball and seemed mostly a one-trick pony.
Was not upset when Young left, especially since he was demanding more NIL after such a mediocre season where he was a nonfactor in games where we needed someone to step up. We discovered and developed him, and he's playing us off vs. UGA for more money, smh. People complain about Brown, with some justification. But he's visible, he's in the game. Blocking, rooting his team on, getting targets, making some catches. Every one of our 4 starters has more heart and is a better teammate and WR than Young. So zero empathy. Good ******* riddance.
Whew, buddy.
Brown has to be the same villain Young is, maybe worse, because Sam is not going to get near the yards he did last year.
Brown has shown poor effort on multiple plays already. Young never had that issue, he was just raw and needed to develop.
We had a terrible QB room when he bounced. Terrible. And yet Young found a way to produce more than Brown — with TVD as his QB.
The double standard in your rage is wild. Colbie Young possibly made a poor decision, that’s it. Meanwhile Brown has been an absolute zero through 3 games. Not a single play he’s made couldn’t have been done by someone else.
It’s not that serious.
Well maybe he got less money and less targets then lol. Really played himself. But yeah he left before Cam committed and committed to UGA before they got another transfer WR too…300k(rumored) >>>> more targets
People in the know here said we weren’t willing to pay him more and uga did, and he’s starting so hey he did what he thought was best for him.Well maybe he got less money and less targets then lol. Everything is relative.People in the know here said we weren’t willing to pay him more and uga did, and he’s starting so hey he did what he thought was best for him.
Juco two years ago to hundreds of thousands in cfb at a top program. Id say he played himself to success lol

I am sky high on Horton once he puts in some more work
Think he will have a big jump next year
You may be right. But seriously, WGAF? Young is not "all that". He's totally replaceable. The fact we told him take it or leave it strengthens, not weakens, our negotiating position longer term, too. So win/win. ... Now let's use that money on a legit WR1.
