Great point. I'm surprised the team can't apply for some sort of scholarship exception for a career ending injury. But I guess it would get very difficult to track as teams like Bama would have Jags "retiring" just to clear up schollies.

Since 19 signed early, have a bunch of players leaving and we have less than 85 schollys used we have more wiggle room than assumed.

I'm not MJ6, but i think he coaches at MTSU (Middle Tennessee) or ETSU. I know he always had the dirt on Botch Jones program and i think he mentioned one of those two schools is where he is at.

I will happily move out of my new home to make room for them if that’s what it takes. After all, it’s really Hartley’s house anyway, I’m just living in it.

I will gladly do the same. As a matter of fact, I will turn into Jeffrey from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air for them while they are occupying my humble abode.

My question why doesn't CMR put the full court press on the iffy guys personally? For example he sent bandy to visit jobe. He should have sent himself and maybe 3 of his top recruiters with him. Seems like richt should be going to AH and full court pressing those iffy guys instead of dealing with a guy like Ezzard who looks like he'll come regardless.

You get the feeling the Richt gives up on guys and just sends a coach out for due diligence in certain situations. Chit, have a killer instinct and go get the fence sitters yourself and let the other guys handle to sure things or whatever you wanna call it.

CMR is only allowed one in home visit per recruit. So saving his visit for shortly before NSD is a strategy. All other schools already had their in-home with the HC and we still have ours. Not saying this always workd, but this is on purpose

This staff seems to me like they like to fly under the radar with recruiting and keep info inhouse more so than other programs. Either way, they are so much more organized than we have been used to the past 10+ years. There arent as much leaks with past staffs...which probably makes guys like Pete's job a little harder. If so, I like it. Yankees GM Brian Cashman is textbook like this. He is very stealth about trades and signings he is working on...and then BOOM. I dont know why and have nothing to back this up, but Im starting to get a quiet confidence about landing at least 1 of TC or PS2.

The coaches never go around leaking info, usually it’s someone from the support staff. It’s obvious that we are not getting “real leaks” anymore but info that has been approved to be passed on to Pete and a few others. What we are getting is unofficial “coach speak “...obvious.

Doesn’t matter who we use to visit the a AH boys. Tyson made his mind up along time ago that he wanted to go to Georgia. That is not the fault of the staff or his **** parents for that issue that can convince this kid otherwise. It’s good to not give up but given all the positives we have for the kid to come to Miami, he has his mindset on Georgia. Live with it. It’s nobodies fault

Found myself asking the same thing but who's to say Richt doesn't know something that posters on this board don't?
