Golden got Howard, Duke, Flowers, Bush, C. Thomas, Walton, Darling, Yearby, Coley, Grace, Burns, Carter

Richt got Pope, Hall, Donaldson, Scaife, Rousseau, Blades, C. Davis, Frierson, Bandy, Richards, J. Jackson

That is a list "bolstered" by 3 and 4 years of recruiting for each of those coaches. What it doesn't include is all the high profile misses which has been standard for every Miami coach the last 20 years which was really the point.

This year I can list Chaney, Knighton, Harrell, Roberts. Pretty easy to find quality south Florida kids that have signed for any Miami coach.

You’re creating a ridiculous debate. The post I responded to suggested top loal kids hsve been avoiding UM for years. The reality is that is false. The trend is worsening, however. Obviously. But Golden and Richt pulled in local 5* kids at DB/WR. We’ll see re Diaz.

How many players does Miami have for next year I think like half the team bailed on Miami this year and it's only going to get worse!We need an elite coaching staff and elite AD and bots till then Miami is mediocre until everyone is fired and Miami football is run into the ground.I have never seen Miami this bad in all my 41 years of living even Al golden was a better coach.

Frankly, I am surprised we got any good South Florida recruits at all, given our underperformance on the field.

The major college football programs are consistently recruiting Florida, and many of the competing programs have a superior track record to rely on.

"I talked with [Mike Rumph]," Rakestraw told InsideTheU and 247Sports when reached by phone. "He called me a few days ago and said that they liked me and stuff, but he said that he had to check with the head coach before he could offer me."
