If I'm Bowling Green, I look at Warren Ruggiero and Dino Babers. Both guys who have worked there and won, with experience running an offense. Marrow and Monroe are standout recruiters, especially the former in Ohio, but in the MAC you need real coaches who can coach on game day as no one is going to out-talent their way to wins.

As a BG fan again, glad they're doing a national search and gaining interest from some decent names

Can't remember who they used in last search but in that one, the old AD didn't listen to the search firm and hired Loeffler

Dino is a great pick (don’t know enough about Ruggiero). I was bummed it didn’t work out for him at Syracuse. He might just be better as a P4 OC or lower mid-major HC, for the reasons you stated.

The job at SorryExCuse is not an easy one.
I think with Babers he is a coach with experience as HC and OC and, more importantly, he tends to find good assistant coaches.
I think this pairs well with the MAC.
