Not sure if true, but I remember hearing that one of the reasons Bronco quit UVa was over a coach or two that school wanted him to fire. If true, that align with the loyalty you cite.

I remember when he took the UVA job he told a reporter his thing was to jump on his motorcycle and cruise up and down the mountains. He's definitely cut from a different mold.

Tough job though. They sorta ran Rocky Long out of that job and he was an alum taking the program to bowls.
