That’s interesting considering he stepped down from UGA because he was burned out and wanted to spend more time with family.

Maybe I am in the wrong on this...but you can tell who the real "football guys" (the guys that just want to perfect the craft of football and have a nerdy obsession with the anatomy of the game, etc) are by how quick they want to jump to the NFL in - seemingly - almost any role to get out of the bull**** that CFB comes with as a coach at that level. I feel some of these dudes would go coach HS (and some probably do, tbh) if it paid well enough so they can just get in the lab with a pen n a pad and create some **** instead of dealing with an unregulated college football. Football is like 25% of the job description at the college level at this point.
