That’s fair, 2.8 million are a big number for an OC.

Having said that and keeping in mind that in this world perception is reality, it seems that the AD and Freeman are not totally on the same page.

ND fans are not happy, the Guidugli hire as QB coach automatically cut out the majority of names they wanted as OC.

I saw Alex Atkins's name pop out a lot, remember that the Irish need also an OL coach so Atkins as OC/OL coach would make sense for them.

Having said that the most likely scenario is still the promotion of Gerad Parker (TE coach) as OC.
