Played for the D2 National Championship. Really a bottom feeder program for a long time that's had a nice run the last 15 years or so. Lots of people expecting their HC (Brandon Moore) to be a pretty quick riser in coaching ranks. Probably got himself on FCS radars after this season. Solid NFL player for the 49ers for a few years.

They had a coach at that Colorado school named Bob Stitt who was a highly-regarded offensive mind. Coaches from the Leach, Mumme and Rich Rodriguez tree knew him well. Sitting later moved up to Montana but didn't last long at that school.
