Who says Paul Williams excelled? We‘ve all seen bad coaches hired over and over.

Think D’Noforio, fired by Miami as DC, hired at Houston as DC. Then fired. Then hired aa ILB coach as Wisconsin, then fired (not retained by new HC). Now he‘s LB coach at Stanford, and probably Williams’ connection.

It‘s a club.

I wouldn’t count not being retained in the same boast as being fired

Pretty good work? What metric are you using to get to that conclusion?

Since he got fired from Miami he has been at Wake, Texas, Illinois, and Houston. Wake was the only play he was at longer than 2 years and non of teams were any good on defensive side of the ball.
