That’s a really quick move up the coaching ranks for him.

I wonder what he’s doing thats speeding up his upward movement.

I’ve seen a few highlights of games, but nothing earth shattering as far as design, pace, or play calling is concerned

Yep, he played there and started his coaching career under Pat Dye and Terry Bowden.

Saban let go/fired most of his assistants after they got smoked by Clemson in the 2018 championship game which included Tosh. We got Enos off that staff. Their defense was not nearly on par as what they had been even with all that talent. If Tosh required the DC role to come here I'm glad we passed.

Saban went a little too recruiting heavy with the staff that year. Balanced it out the next year.

I could see Saban clearing 4-5 coaches out. Marrone would be top of the list IMO - that OL underperformed all year
