FIU sure is hiring a bunch of former P5 coaches for a school who doesn’t care about football

It is the college football version of an XFL coaching staff, containing a bunch of coaches looking to revitalize their careers. Some would argue it is a staff of washed-up coaches. Regardless, I think this is a good staff for former UM player looking to cut their teeth in the coaching profession.

Amazing hire for them...makes zero sense for him personally, unless he got a fat bag. He's from PA, so it's not a homecoming...he's a UW alum so this is puzzling...the job in itself, is a step down (or maybe you can argue lateral move).

Long Islan is thought of as Nassau and Suffolk county

AZHurricane lived in Manhattan for 10 years and wants TrumpyCane to know that he was being pedantic and as you note was in fact technically correct while educating someone who clearly has no clue about the area.
