Likens isn't a bad recruiter tho.


I think Likens is a solid recruiter and a very good coach. However I don't think he's an elite or great recruiter. According to 247, Lashlee was the primary recruiter and Fields the secondary for Brashard Smith. Field was the primary and Likes the secondary for Brinson. Likens the primary for George. He was also the primary for Horton.

I'm not knocking him. I personally like having a "solid" recruiter and a "very good" coach, especially when the off-field staff gets beefed up for recruiting like it will under Mario, and when you have recruiting snipers like Field on staff. Likens is a good all-around coach that doesn't have any deficiencies.

I like having elite recruiters at every spot, dont got to teach that much to a Cooper Moss etc. In my opinion that is.

Lanning staff is nice so far - but I think his OC sucks from FSU. But I guess they are close.

Naw, Lanning got a couple good coaches but as a whole they are a big step down from the previous staff.

Lanning & Dillingham are both Todd Graham disciples from the AZ St days, Mike Norvell is too.

But they were all there together & Dillingham came from the AZ High School coaching ranks & AZ has some of the best college level coaches in their High school system & just like Texas HS football, many of them have filtrated college football & gotten good G5 & P5 jobs.

Dillingham was actually good at Memphis & Auburn, his stint at FSU has been bad, but he doesn’t actually call plays at FSU & tbh nearly every good OC that has gone to FSU since Jumbo left has had a really rough time. FSU as a program has essentially been dead because they have no QB, no leadership & no direction.

Much like with Kendal Briles, Dillingham’s career will probably bounce back after being stuck in purgatory in Trailerhasse.

Demetrice Martin is a terrible CB corch. Used to recruit like TRob, but he's always corched like Paul Williams.
