I really dislike the fact that Finley, Knowles, and Langham are getting talked about so much. They really were not good last year.
Would have said the same thing last year about Michael Jackson, trust the process.

I’ll absolutely agree on Knowles and somewhat on Langham but can’t really agree on Finley. He didn’t really play enough to say he was good, bad or indifferent.
I think Langham did everything asked of him last year. I don’t remember him dropping any passes thrown his way. Also he had some great catches against Ga Tech and obviously FSU.
Naw he dropped a few critical 3rd down catches I remember towards the end of the season(last 3 games) . Not many, but I would say two they were like 3rd and 7 and we were driving type of drives.I think Langham did everything asked of him last year. I remember when MJ was an Al Golden special. He's come a looooong way.Would have said the same thing last year about Michael Jackson, trust the process.
Michael Jackson was a 4star by at least one site, had offers from Miami, clemson,LSU plus others so he hardly was a golden special. Also was said to be the best player in the Alabama Mississippi state highschool gameI remember when MJ was an Al Golden special. He's come a looooong way.
Man I remember the talk at the time. It was mostly negative. It was partly because he wasn't from SFLA, and partly because of who recruited him. Seems like Saban wasn't interested, so why was Miami?Michael Jackson was a 4star by at least one site, had offers from Miami, clemson,LSU plus others so he hardly was a golden special. Add the possibility of Evidence living up to his immense potential and we have a once every generation type WR group.Hightower is consistently the first name out of each offensive coach mouth when they are asked about the freshman receivers. Clearly the spring game was not an anomaly. Hightower, Pope, and Harley as backups.........****.

I don't agree with you on Finely because he's playing a new position, so I have no preconceived prejudices about his ability or inability to flourish there.
On Knowles, I think our coaches are talking him up in order to motivate some of the younger guys like A. Carter and Hall and to stress the importance that they place on doing your homework in the film room and knowing your assignments and being disciplined. I think they want those two to understand that there's much more that goes into developing into a great player than just simply having blazing speed or being highly athletic.

The coaches who see him in practice every single day probably have a pretty good idea what he is capable of doing in a game. I trust them and am ready & willing to ride with whoever they think is best. The Finley comment was ridiculous. He's barely played and nobody knows what he's gonna do in 2018.
Do agree with the second part for sureMan I remember the talk at the time. It was mostly negative. It was partly because he wasn't from SFLA, and partly because of who recruited him. Seems like Saban wasn't interested, so why was Miami?
Now, had Golden and the defensive guru that played prevent D at the goal line against GT still been here, he doesn't develop into the player he is today. He benefits greatly from Manny Diaz's attacking D.
Agree and I don't get it. I can understand some not being happy we hired basically a first-time assistant rather than a proven guy with a proven name in recruiting, but he's done a **** good job imo. First year he takes 2 guys who hadn't done a **** of a lot in Jamal and Jenkins, and they give us incredibly solid and dependable (borderline great) safety play. Last year he's dealt 2 new starters and JJ has a phenomenal year, while Redwine does "OK" while playing safety for the first time.Banda seems like a bright guy. I know folks are down on him sometimes, but it'll be interesting to see if he can get some improvement out of a guy like Redwine. He's green but I think he's got potential.
