Cancelling a game at half due to covid seems incredibly ridiculous. Like almost to the point of that team having to forfeit ridiculous. Only reason I wouldn't say they should get the L is because 21-skunk rule. But like if Deerfield had some points on the board, and were only losing by 14 or something, and Dillard tried to do that, I'd definitely say they forfeited.

I'm a bit confused about what Coach Phife is saying at the end. When he is saying thing like if they are so worried about COVID my team and my life was in danger. Who is they he is referring to? Dillard? If so, then I can't see how he can be mad at them. It was his player who the concerns are about.

It seems like a very strange situation all around. Anyhow, I hope everything and everyone is okay and the kid doesn't have COVIDand all is well. Hoping the best for you and the team @Coach Macho

Nobody had Covid.
It was simply a kid that went to clinic earlier in the day and the nurse determined that he had "covid like symptoms".

I don't know how Dillard found out.
My thing is...
He was allowed to participate in school for the rest of the day, and be apart of team activities, so why didn't anybody notify us that we couldn't take him to the game?
