coach lockette

sorry i forgot to put one word in the post, yes i meant TURNED DOWN the position, ive also heard the reason for him turning it down was because of his family, just what im hearing

Hey guys I have the chance to coach at UM. We don't have to move my commute is relatively the same. I will be making prob 3 times as much. I will have entered the college ranks. The potential to move up will be far greater than that as a highschool head coach. And if **** doesn't work out prob any highschool in Miami will rehire me on the spot. Oh ya and a side note the guy before me is in the nfl. What you think??

No dad/husband we don't want u to make more and coach college football without us having to move or anything.

Ok fine I won't.

Is that kinda how it went??

He does it for the kids, mane, he does it for the kids.

lol

If he turned it down then that is good news for Miami, less friction in the hood..

It's plausible that Golden really let his expectations for the position be known loud and clear. It is a HUGE commitment and it isn't everyone's goal to coach at the next level. He could be perfectly comfortable in his current position and who know what he currently makes for a salary. Is he an administrator at the school?

Big Sky, I'm pretty sure I read something recently where Telly said he wants to transition to college corching. Pretty sure he's ready to move up. I get the feeling Al must have known he was going to promote Hurlie because I'm pretty sure Hurlie made it known he'd go to fiu to corch DBs if he didn't get the RB gig here.

Maybe they wanted to bring Telly in as DFO, and he's still thinking it over. Maybe someone else is in the picture (fsu) offering him a gig. fsu is all about trying to copy everything we do, so it wouldn't surprise me if they've jumped into the Telly game.

I'd say the chance that we offered him the RB gig, and he turned it down is probably .0000000000001%.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about f$u.
I hope that is not the situation.
