Name all of the stud NFL TEs from Bama, UGA, and Clemson .... I'll help you out.

UGA has 1 -- Ben Watson the 9th string TE for the Patriots that was drafted in the 1st Rd .... in 2004.

Bama has 3 -- some guy name Hale Hentges on the Colts, a rookie that was undrafted. OJ Howard who sucks for the TB Bucs, and Irv Smith who is a rookie on the Vikings.

Clemson has ZERO TE's in the NFL.

Miami has 5 -- Olsen, Njoku, Herndon, Graham, and Walford.

“Just dumb” to you. You aren’t the kid and you are a Miami fan so you aren’t thinking clearly. Bam, UGA, and Clemson all are doing something that we aren’t doing. Why didn’t you touch on that at all?

You're right. They aren't putting Tight Ends in the league like we have and are.
Bama has 10 years of 5* TE recruiting and two legit NFL draftees.

If a TE was truly making a business decision they would do exactly what Brevin and Will did. Come to Miami, get featured, and go to the NFL.

If kids have a choice of winning a NC, getting limited touches, and being drafted in the 7th round OR getting many touches, not winning a conference championship, but being a top 2-3 round draft pick and making more money they would take option two 99% of the time. No bags involved in either situation.

They should still do it anyway. A 1-3 round pick is making money that is bigger than whatever the bag is. I guess the one problem is the bag money isn't reported as income so it's tax free 😅.

And play in ****** bowl games and struggle to win your division. Why isn’t he going to Iowa then if it’s all about TE production and going to the NFL? And why are YOU trying to say what the kid should consider? What if it isn’t a business decision for him? What if he just wants to go somewhere where he has a chance of winning a national championship?

Yes Iowa is just as good as Miami now for producing NFL TEs so Midwestern/small town guys should go there instead. D Washington is from Vegas so I'm pretty sure Miami is a better cultural fit than Iowa.

As for your other "question" .... I completely disagree with you. Maybe 5% of recruits would choose being in contention for a national championship and getting limited touches over getting featured in a pro-style offense and getting more opportunities to make a career out of football.
 
This kid is already a part of Georgia's class. Their recruits talk about it, their bloggers talk about it, their fans talk about it. Everyone knows his recruitment is over. He's signed, sealed, and delivered. Fields is wasting time if he's flying out there to only see him.

Second, the most pathetic and over played thing on this site...and it isn’t even close ... is that every kid we lose, we lost because of “bags”. We are sitting here at 2-2 with a 17-12 victory over CMU, and if we lose a kid to UGA...it’s because of bags? These kids just want to go somewhere and win and play bigtime ball. UGA using the TE would be a plus, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter more than winning. Brevin will be a Mackey award finalist and Mallory will put up numbers too but if we go 7-5 then that TE **** doesn’t mean a **** thing to that kid If we are playing the day after Christmas in El Paso for the next 3 years.

If it were only about production every top WR would sign with Mike Leach every year and every top RB would sign with Wisconsin. I’m exaggerating but you get my **** point.

It’s not that we lose every kid due to bags, that’s absurd. I agree. it’s that we cannot compete with those who will take bags. There’s a difference and it kills us with elite South Florida players.
