Clemson DTackle gaining interest in Canes[emoji848]

Please let this happen. Listed as a SDE in Clemson's scheme - would play inside here but might have the ability to play outside as well. Would be an immediate impact player with two years of eligibility left and would MAJORLY mitigate some of our recruiting problems here until we shore up the numbers.

No-brainer.

Nothing wrong with 300 lb DEs if they can play the position.

Reggie White is about as good as any DE that's ever played - and he was 305 in the pros....don't think he was too much lighter at Tennessee, but I can't remember.

lol we are not on the official schedule but odds are they are playing us at the end of the season. Dabo trying to photoshop and include miami in there haha

I think it's obvious we will be looking for 2-3 grad transfers this free agent season.

I'd like another DT, DE, CB, TE, but I don't know that we'll go quite that hard into the market (which would be six grad transfers).
 
We should've had a JUCO TE on the squad this year. Or someone with experience AND size.

We're still going to be hurting when our TEs actually need to block. Not a good idea to have true freshman trying to block 4th and 5th year defensive players.

Yup would be nice...Hopefully Polendey ready to provide some blocking as well.
 
Here is our projected 2019 DLine...the year where we should be ready to "make that serious run" because Perry or Weldon will have a full season under their belt.

We're in much better shape at TE in 2018 than 2017
