Class of 2019 QB Nathan Cisco

If we could I would want us to take the most talented QB each year regardless of where they are from. If that guy is from SFL, great, if not, great.

South Florida QBs only.

Can any of the pass? Or do you guys want a running QB?

Go take a look at Lamar Jackson's trophy case. They can pass enough. The statuesque QB is a dying breed.

LOL, Lamar will be a WR in the NFL. The last 2 years in the draft, **** last 65, how many duels were drafted? How many in the first 3 rounds?

Are you talking about strictly South Florid QB's? or Dual QB's in general?

Cam Newton, Tim teblow, Johny Manziel, Marcus Mariota. Need more?

Cam and Mariota have greatly curtailed their running and both are very good passers. Johnny Manziel are out of the league.

What kind of athlete is he ? Richt seems to be moving towards qb's with wheels, or at least decent speed.

He can run but he is a passer and he is not going to a school that wants him running read option. He stands in and takes the hits to make the throws and runs when it is needed. He a year ago he was doing a 4.8 so he is not slow. Most dual threats look to take off at the first sign the pocket is collapsing, That's not him.

What division/class?

Majority of College coaches want an athletic qb, even Sabans recruiting of the position has changed.

Yes and hurts inability to pass is why Clemson won that game. Most recruit dual threats because they know they can play another position if they don't pan out at QB. Plus it is hard to find a good Pro-style qb. At UT they recruited a kid who played QB in HS, Rashad Jennings and he picked TN because they said they would give him a shot at QB. He is now a WR and will likely be drafted.

Clemson won that same game because they had the best dual threat QB in college football.

Clemson won that game because Alabama couldn't stop them the second half. Bama's qb was a true freshmen playing on the biggest stage in football and still did enough to get the win. He took them downfield for the apparent gw td. The d just couldn't hold the lead.

Bama lost because Bo Scarborough got hurt

He plays defense ?

Last time I checked Clemson went up and down the field , just like the year before. They just started a little slower this year unlike the previous matchup.

Injuries are part of the game. Clemson won because they were the better team that night. They sure look pretty good this year too. Hopefully we will get a chance to play them in the ACC championship game. We do have many games to play and our opponents look worthy of playing us competitively

LOL, OK Alabama was not hamstrung with a QB who was an inaccurate passer? lol They won it the year before against the same QB with a QB whose feet were set in cement.

You mean the 22/23 year old fifth year Sr was more accurate than the 17-18 year old true Fr? Shocking stuff.

Coker also ran in the 4.7's , so I wouldn't say his feet were set in cement.

Coker was actually a good runner. He won the job and won his teammates over with a few big tough runs early in the season.

Can bench 245, squat 385, deadlift 400, clean 295. Las timed in the 40 2 years ago at 4.9. Mush faster now. Long strides so good top end speed needs work on getting to it quicker. Can take a hit from big D-1 level DL's. Last game a linebacker came in unblocked on his blind side, launched, hit him helmet to helmet and drove him into the ground. Never say it coming, not only did he not fumble he got right up. The kid thatg hit him left the game and did not return. He will miss the next 2 weeks with a concussion. My son inherited my hard head! lol

Is he a running QB? No, he can run but keeps his eyes down field to pass. HE will not go to a program that runs read option, but is good with RPO plays.

BTW - My son trains with the same group, QB Country, as Coker, McCarron and your current starter. It doesn't matter if UM gets interested in him. He is already being recruited by several D-1 schools including SEC and Big 10 schools. Either way I don't pay for college.

Oh, he is smart, got a letter from Harvard yesterday and Princeton has shown interest. Wish I could talk him into going there!

This thread has confused me for a while.. is this a kid Miami is considering or is this just a thread hoping Miami considers.. someone fill me in.. is the elder Cisco trying to push his son on us or whats happening here
