Class of 2014 Targets, and who do you hope we get, or want ?

Tim Irvin is '15 but he's already a Cane. He's as big a cane fan as Duke was in Highschool. He won't even listen to a coach if his name isn't Al Golden
 
I would be surprised if it wasn't a full class. You rarely see back to back classes that are small, and I think we are about to get time served from the NCAA (otherwise we should tie them up with so many lawsuits they cease to function as an entity).

We will be able to count NINE back against this year's class if we can get them in the door early...that means kids like McDermott and Darling who committed early, and Lockley from this year. Plus, on top of all these So Fla studs, we will have the usual assortment of "Al Guys" that earn it at camp or crop up late in the process. Would be very surprised if we didn't find a few out of state d-linemen, for instance. He likes the long, flexible hybird linemen (Rico, O'Donnell, Kamalu) that fall through the cracks. And you bet there will be one or two national recruits at the all star games that we are in on (like the DE from Georgia) if we start winning again. Which I think we will. Nice schedule, sick offense, improving defense.

All in all, Al looks ****ed after this class. He is sick of the bull****, and I think he is going to channel it in to turning the Gators and Noles to dust, on the field and off. Al became a very angry man today, and I think he learned some lessons.

Staffs going to have to target about 10 kids who can also early enroll next year.
 
Chad Thomas has told people he wants FSU.

I'll tell you what, though...The petulant children-- amusingly referring to themselves as coaches-- that patrol BTW's sideline don't own the keys to UM's success.

**** BTW. If Al wants to recruit them, then its his prerogative to do so--just don't use them as an excuse in the future. Frankly, I want nothing to do with BTW kid, unless that kid basically asks to be recruited and keeps a muzzle on his "coaches".

That could be referencing MT's decision to get away, basically saying that what you see on TV about Miami (the glitz and glam) isn't the life these kids live in Overtown. You can't really figure anything else from it.

Im not fretting, he sent me a link to his twitter page and i saw a lot of anti UM stuff, there is still a year to sway him but right now it doesnt look that good

I find it extremely troubling that coaches have more say in the recruiting process than the parents. The coaches at BTW hate Golden but the parents of the kids swear by him and the players love em.

Al needs to recruit the families alone and start weeding out some of these guys without heavy parental guidance.
 
I don't know if true animosity exists on Ice or Ice JRs side in that staff. It is well documented, however, that the rest of that staff is no friend of the University of Miami. Poison really.
