I don't like this.
Yeah that King deal with the Panthers was a big ole flop. Worked out well for King though. This is really the beginning of the end of college football. It’s going to reach a level where kids don’t give a **** about what their position coach is telling them because they are making more money than the coach. Mo money Mo problems.NIL is about to become so stupid If it has not already.
Look at all the kids who received big NIL money last season who either underperformed or were injured. The corporations received next to no return on investment.
But if a school just wants to pay players like this Texas deal, there is nothing stopping them. And doing it thru a non-profit is just basically boosters paying players like the good ole days. The only difference is that now the kids will have to pay income tax.
$100K each OL an DL. Call it the Cuban Sandwich.Yeah, this was predictable. The bamas of the world will just do some of their paying out in the open now.
Gonna need to be a lot of @sses in seats to afford that.$100K each OL an DL. Call it the Cuban Sandwich.
Was expecting something else when I see a thread titled Chunky Luv started by Paranos...
Yo never dissapoint us, LOL. but please, please, not before 6 pm. I just might throw up.Ohhhh *** an yee shall recieve

That's pay-for-play which is against our Florida NIL law. I'm assuming Texas doesn't have an NIL or pay-for-play is not in it. We are being investigated by the NCAA for our whole team $500/month NIL because of our state law.Go big or go home , Texas is literally putt'N on their big pants, with stacks of money in every pocket. They are offering every olinemen a $50K annual NIL deal on top of whatever the rest of the team puts together as NIL deals. MIAMI is gonna have to start showing these big boys some love, because the rest of the $EC is not gonna let that UT deal go unchallenged, since it is a LOS conference.
Also you gotta love the name of the UT non profit organization "The Pancake Factory" they are using to funnel the money to the olinemen! This approach is pure genius because olinemen tend be the least marketed position on a team unless they are a stellar group "the Washington Redskins Hogs" or similar. NIL deals flow to the pretty positions, but the game is won with the big uglies.

New NIL program will pay each Texas offensive lineman $50,000 a year
Every scholarship lineman at Texas will get $50,000 annually as part of an NIL program that could spur a new type of college arms race.www.on3.com
