Chucky Doll

No lie; this has got to be one of the most unmitigated recruiting disasters I’ve ever witnessed. At this point, we’re taking bodies v. guys who truly have a chance to build quality depth or can help. If ur trying to talk urself into thinking otherwise, ur just being a homer.

Get rid of Searels! Now! Get a real QB coach. Honestly, I don’t care about an OC. That’s like 3rd on my worries. That OL and this bull chit recruiting, the lack of QB development and this bull chit recruiting needs to go!

I really don’t understand this thinking and how it’s shared by so many here. Our biggest issue and it’s not even close is OC. Our offense is so predictable that defenses know what we’re gonna do which will put any OL or QB at a significant disadvantage no mater who’s coaching them. And the tempo of our offense is so sketchy and not fluid that no Line or WR or QB will ever develop any continuity or momentum.

And if we bring in a legit OC, he request to able to replace anyone below him that he feels he should.

Our OL has been weak since 2016. Our QBs have not developed. Our offense is antiquated no doubt, but our OL recruiting is deplorable and everyone knows it starts in the trenches. Look, if it was up to me, the entire offensive staff would be gone. I’m looking at realistic changes that can help. We’re not getting an OC, but that don’t mean we can’t upgrade OL and QB positional coaches

I always thought searels was the weak link. Look at his resume. When has he had a good line at any of his stops in his career? Can’t fire him until after this first signing day. We have to get a few guys in with him helping out. Then he can get the ax.

But but but he coached Andrew Whitworth......

Honestly, not sure if University of IL ever produced a good OL. Can’t recall too many OL making it to the league and if they did, I would assume it was a low draft pick or they didn’t last.

Jon Asamoah Chiefs a few years ago and thats about it.

Pretty sure Brad Hopkins went there. Can’t think of any others.

Don't worry. The Flipping Machine will be gassed up soon enough and when it is gassed up FCS coaches across the nation will be quivering in their boots. Knowing that Miami will always be lurking in the shadows ready to flip all of their 2 stars.
We about to flip Hicham El Mashtoub from Cincy and a dude from Illinois. Strap yourself in, fella! The Miami Flip Machine rhythm is gonna get you.

If you’ve never heard of David Diehl then you never watched a lot of the NFL. Guy was a staple of the giants OL with Shaun O’hara and Chris Snee. Other than that, the only guys still on rosters are Ted Karras and Jeff Allen.

His name didn’t stick out, but yeah I know him. Went to the pro bowl one year, too, if not mistaken.
