Chuck Foreman belongs in the HOF!!!

Point is...Edge was better...Im a Cane fan today because of OJ, Since he was a Frosh, but Edge was a better RB....Stats tell me that...

You are overrating him a bit.

I don't think he is a Pro Football Hall of Famer. However, with Terrell Davis being enshrined, I think the bar for running back has lowered and I think now you can make the case that if TD is in the Hall...Chuck Foreman should be, too.

With that said, if guys like Terrell Davis...and then Chuck Foreman are in the Hall of Fame...then why isn't Fred Taylor or Ricky Watters or Steven Jackson or Corey Dillon...you get the idea. Not a fan of moving the bar, but it seems its been lowered with Terrell Davis or even worse, Floyd Little.

OJ Anderson and Edge are basically a tossup. Basically similar stats but OJ played on horrible Cardinals teams...Edge had a ballin Peyton Manning. OJ Canes teams were not very good either. OJ was on the Giants when he was over 30 years old and had played like 8 years with one of the 3 worst teams in the NFL. They Both were NFL rookie of the years also.

I LOVED the guy. He IS my avatar after all. He was my first favorite Canes player. I met him once when I was a kid at the 7-11 on Sunset near US 1 and he couldn't have been nicer or cooler. That said, he belongs in the Hall of the Very Good. Not quite HOF material.

Otis was top 5 rushing when he retired and won a Super Bowl. Look at the nfl all time leader stats when Otis retired.

Otis don’t get the love he deserves, either. Believe he was a SB MVP as well. Over 10k rushing at a 4.0 ypc clip. 2 SB under his belt. He should be in. Foreman should be in, and definitely Edge should be in. I’m saying this as an objective NFL fan, not a blind homer. The Sr committee need to open the door for Otis & Chuck

Not when there's sooooooo many mouths to feed in the HOF waiting room. He's #93 in all time rushing yards with slightly less than 6,000. Edge has twice as many career yards and guys like Fred Taylor, Steven Jackson and Corey Dillon have almost twice as many rushing yards and then there's so many others ahead of him like Warrick Dunn and OJ Anderson. Don't get me wrong though. If Foreman did get in, I'd be the first to pop a bottle of Dom. He's the first Cane player I ever loved. Nuff' said.
