They benched Blades for Couch. Before the health concerns.Possibly sure but who knows with this staph. They start inferior older players routinely.

Yup no way kid shouldn’t have ended up at like a vandy, GT, WF, or BCs of the P5 worldCouldn’t agree more. He gained nothing by quitting mid season. Regardless of what your opinion is on the coaches, he would only have improved himself by practicing, working out and getting whatever nutrition program he would have gotten at Miami instead of just going home. Also, Couch is looking like our best cornerback out there and even Dunson and Clarke have done alright in limited time. I’m thinking he saw the writing on the wall and dipped before he fell further down the depth chart. Notice he ended up at a g5 school. This was a kid that had SEC schools recruiting him and he couldn’t even end up transferring to a low level P5 school?
All spring I read how he was killing it (I know, I know) and it even seemed like he had a chance to start. Then I remembered our staph literally won't play better players, just the old ones.Possibly sure but who knows with this staph. They start inferior older players routinely.
So Rousseau magically got better than Patchan after 5 games? Couch was consistently our best corner but only deserved to start a few games? This is your argument?
Te'Cory stuck it out and eventually did earn the starting spot. He also didn't quit the team 1 game after the season started. Speaks volumes about him as a player and competitor as opposed to transferring to a 1-8 team. That’s not saying anything because our best corner didn’t start either
rousseau was hurt coming into the season, not sure how many games he was out, but IIRC he couldn't have started game 1 because of injury. So Rousseau magically got better than Patchan after 5 games? Couch was consistently our best corner but only deserved to start a few games? This is your argument?
