Lammons is not coming here. And that's fine with me. He can go the SEC, we'll be fine without him.
how do you know this?
I don't. It's just my opinion. He hasn't said anything positive about UM since he started getting SEC offers. He's gone to the dark side. He even retweeted some guy talking about Tracy Howard made a huge mistake going to UM and he should have chosen a real program... Smh
If this is true, then I no longer want Chris Lammons in this class.
That is some punk a$$ **** to do to the home town school that gave him one of his first major offer if not his first.
Tracy Howard is 10 times the CB that Lammons is so LMFAO.
Kid has no experience playing CB and hasn't proved anything other than that he is a good athlete playing QB(just like Brandon McGee)
I would rather take a more polished CB who has actually played the position and locked down good receivers before in real games, not just 7 on 7 tournaments.
Also hate taking CBs under 5'10, especially if they are not a proven "lock down CB".
I personally have never been a fan of signing kids to play a position that they have never played in a real game before, that goes for recruiting DEs to play LB(ask MRob how that worked out) or recruiting QBs to play CB or WR when there are plenty of solid CBs and WRs available in South FL every year that actually have film and experience playing those positions.
If we were to take any of these "project recruits" (recruited to play a position he has never played in a game) then the ones that I would look at are QB Quinton Flowers to play Safety here(he does actually play Sin games), QB Treon Harris to play CB here(also plays CB along with QB), DE Mike Smith to play DE/OLB Hybrid rush end here, and QB Chris Lammons to play CB here(but after that disrespectful retweet, he can kick rocks)
