Chris Lammons top 5

This kid and his recruitment remind me so much of Jabari Gorman. We see how that turned out. Not trying to sound like chicken little but I dont have a good feeling about this one.

Jabari Gorman --> Randy Shannon

Chris Lammons --> Al Golden

Lammons is a UF lean still think UM will land Patten at CB. With Burns playing CB now and Gunter having 2 years left and Howard and Crawford 3 years and Dortch 4 years Miami only needs 2 cb this cycle.. Next year clean up on CB and Safety because it's loaded in SFL.

I have always said I want Patton or Lammons. Not both. Just dont want two 5'8-5'9 corners in one cycle. (And Patton actually looks 5'7 in some pics I have seen.) They are both studs dont get me wrong..But the times are changing. Receivers are getting bigger and unless you are a freak of nature its hard for a 5'8 corner to survive in todays game. JMO.

I think that he is already set on UF and UM as the top 2 and right now i think it's pretty much even so the ov's will settle it

There is a lot of negativity surrounding the U right now. Or as Al put it, "toxicity." It is a long way till NSD. I believe if we are able to put up a 9 or 10 win season, which is very possible, and win against either Uf or Fsuck (hopefully both), AND, not get hit too hard with this BS NCAA garbage. Cats will recognize and Al and company will be able to sway a few commits who are on the fence or committed else where. So I'm not too worried this early on about some of the guys who are leaning one way or the other. JMHO

Although, I would love 15 Brad Kaayas, who are completely solid and chatting up everyone around them.

Lammons is not coming here. And that's fine with me. He can go the SEC, we'll be fine without him.

how do you know this?
I don't. It's just my opinion. He hasn't said anything positive about UM since he started getting SEC offers. He's gone to the dark side. He even retweeted some guy talking about Tracy Howard made a huge mistake going to UM and he should have chosen a real program... Smh

quoting Al Davis "Just win baby"

win and these local kids will come simple as that

if UF has a bad season this kid will be talking about UM a lot again

and people can say Tracy made a bad decision by just one season SMH, though im not liking he retweeted that

Kind of a bad move on his part if he is genuinely interested in us. Once our pass rush gets going with McCord, Chick, AQM, and Bond, our secondary should look really, really good. I'm hoping that will happen this year, but 2014 at the latest.

If this is true, then I no longer want Chris Lammons in this class.

That is some punk a$$ **** to do to the home town school that gave him one of his first major offer if not his first.

Tracy Howard is 10 times the CB that Lammons is so LMFAO.

Kid has no experience playing CB and hasn't proved anything other than that he is a good athlete playing QB(just like Brandon McGee)

I would rather take a more polished CB who has actually played the position and locked down good receivers before in real games, not just 7 on 7 tournaments.

Also hate taking CBs under 5'10, especially if they are not a proven "lock down CB".

I personally have never been a fan of signing kids to play a position that they have never played in a real game before, that goes for recruiting DEs to play LB(ask MRob how that worked out) or recruiting QBs to play CB or WR when there are plenty of solid CBs and WRs available in South FL every year that actually have film and experience playing those positions.

If we were to take any of these "project recruits" (recruited to play a position he has never played in a game) then the ones that I would look at are QB Quinton Flowers to play Safety here(he does actually play Sin games), QB Treon Harris to play CB here(also plays CB along with QB), DE Mike Smith to play DE/OLB Hybrid rush end here, and QB Chris Lammons to play CB here(but after that disrespectful retweet, he can kick rocks)

We are probably in 2nd or 3rd for Lammons right now but calm down with all the accusations. I highly doubt he retweeted that about Tracy because he knows all the fanboys that follow him on twitter. There's still a full season, official visits, and in-home visits till signing day. We were his leader at one point so I wouldn't be surprised if we can get back up there. You guys need stop overreacting to small tibits or opinions, especially in June

I have zero Chicken Little Syndrome, but Lammons feels like an uphill battle to me.

He's the type of kid we can land if we build some big momentum during the season though and then close in the winter.

All I'm saying is that if Lammons did in fact retweet that nonsense then I'm over the kid.

Plenty of better CBs out there that have actually played CB before.

lately people have been acting like were not gonna get anybody, I'm as tired as the inferiority complex as Al is

people are still feeling bad about the last recruiting cycle, they including me thought we were going to get a lot of great recruits and they end up ******** us over, so people are a little hesitant with this recruiting cycle

Our DT recruiting was terrible, but I have no idea how anyone could feel bad about our class, especially considering circumstances. We had a **** of a class.

Miami can solve most of their problems with local kids by getting closure with the NCAA and winning some games. He won't think Howard made such a mistake if Miami has a great season and goes to a good bowl.

FWIW he did retweet it....
