Yeah bro... I wasn't really speculating or guessing about them leaving. I think they'll be pushed out.The word has been they are both lazy. I also don’t see Chaney as a factor. He’s had back to back season ending injuries and now he got a couple young studs breathing down his neck.
Rooster hasn't been utilized by Gattis yet though.it's not rocket science.
how rooster is utilized will be how chris johnson is utilized.
His legs are tiny. Looks nothing like a running back and I seriously doubt he'll spend much time at that position. Hope we get on one or flip someone that's given a verbal elsewhere.
I see a slot receiver who you put in the backfield sparingly at best. Athlete with those roles you listed.

He's over 175 right now. He's in the mid 180's.My first thought when I saw that photo. He may never get to 175lbs. Sweeps, screens, can he return kicks? Speed is elite but he isn’t an every down back but would fit nice in a backfield with Citizen/Thad/Chaney etc.. after a RS year.
Don’t **** on his parade with factsHe's over 175 right now. He's in the mid 180's.
Well alright. Wouldn't have thought that from the pic. Getting to 195 may not be as hard as it thought. He's over 175 right now. He's in the mid 180's.

I think Knighton is around 185 now. Definitely looks 10-15 pounds heavier than last year.Based on the photo that’s hard to believe. What does Knighton weigh out of curiosity? If CJ is 180 now Feld might get him close to 195-205
You took the words right out of my mouth. Although I hope they consider that Knighton’s problems weren’t all utilization related last year. Statistically he was one of the nations worst backs (in terms of YPC) on plays that were blocked well (also near the bottom on plays that werent)Feels like the biggest deciding factor will be how we end up using Knighton....
What do you think of Travis Benjamin comparison? Fast and electric with the ball in his hands. Similar body build? I don't remember Travis's speed compared to Chris but he was a track guy too at Miami. He was 4.42 at the Combine
Couldn't he say that about every coach? Or is this one of those special criteria that only applies to Miami?Rooster hasn't been utilized by Gattis yet though.
He’s got to be used correctly . Way too many dives up the middle with him . I know a lot of ppl point to the fact he had the worst ypc of all our backs with the same line, but he was also the smallest and I think the lack of variety of run plays naturally affected him more because of that . He still has a lot to prove RB wise but I think he’s already proved he’s a threat receiving out of the backfield at the leastYou took the words right out of my mouth. I’m a Rooster fan but he’s got a lot to prove
Travis was a legit 4.3 guy, Chris has to be sub 4.4.What do you think of Travis Benjamin comparison? Fast and electric with the ball in his hands. Similar body build? I don't remember Travis's speed compared to Chris but he was a track guy too at Miami.
Ole Miss under Kevin Smith had 4 running backs to rush for over 500 yards last year.Agreed. We need 1 True RB in the class either through high school or portal. I doubt all RB on the current roster stick after this year. Some feelings will be hurt cause their aren’t enough touches for all them .
Johnson is a weapon not a true RB
Cutty Sark can outdrank me.Texas has issues much deeper than the HC.
