Its not that he just doesnt get sacks, i get thats not his game. But is he a elite run stuffer? does he get a ton of QB hurries? His impact on the game often times seems muted. Maybe thats because of a lack of talent around him but if thats the case you gotta overcome it and produce anyway if your that good. Chick has been a let down considering how good he was in high school, no doubt. He doesn't do anything overly well, he just is solid in most aspects. The part that ****es me off is when people start trashing the kid who has played every snap for two seasons, busted his *** on every play, and done everything the coaches have asked of him (even if its to his detriment). People wonder why a kid makes more impact plays when he gets to rest? Chick shouldn't be in this position, but he is. He busts ***. When people want to start talking about guys who have never played, or played a handful of plays, being "better" than this guy, yeah, I get real ****ing annoyed.

Lots of guys on this roster deserve criticism, Chick is near the bottom of the list IMO

IDGAF how many plays Chick has played, how hard he works, and all that other BS! Nobody is absolved from blame and criticism as long as you put on that helmet and take the the field for THEU! Chick has not exceeded expectations simple as that! A great player stands out regardless of scheme coaches whatever. That is what we expected out of him. Save all that other crap for the birds! Alot of players put on the U gave it there all doesn't mean I can't say they didn't play good or sucked! It's my perogative as a fan.

I have no love for No D but Chickillo is a guy who is gonna be successful in life because of who he is. Came in a **** storm, and a defensive staff who are not using the players right imo. In any case, i have never heard of 3-4 DEs getting tons of sacks and tfls. Even when Richard Seymour was balling for New England he never did. Chickillo has never been the most athletic guy. He wil get drafted late, impress the **** out of a NFL team and have a solid career

On the contrary .....I'm just confused with this Chickillo love fest. I'm use to watching players like Baraka Atkins, Calais Campbell, Jerome Mcdougle, Vince Wilfork, William Joseph , Andrew Williams ball out and get praised. Not because they hustled to the ball.

Were you asleep from 05 to present? We missed on those typesa nd not having n elite DT has crippled this whole skeems. He got mvp at the UA game cuz of Clowney, i hear what you saying but blame the coaches not a legacy who could be balling at uf or fsu.

4 of those dudes played along side each other. Also played in a scheme that was tailored around the DL supplying sole pressure. Atkins career wasn't that flashy either. He started 11 more games than Chick. In the same system that benefited the 4 above and only had 9 more TFL and 5.5 sacks than Chick. Campbell stats here were made from his soph season and when things changed his Jr year, so did his numbers.

Chick isn't the greatest, but he does play in a system that is tailored differently for the DL and also has no #75 located in the middle of the defense.

**** I'm not the biggest chick fan but if there is one thing you gotta give him it's effort. No doubt he busts his *** and he's also consistent as ****. Nobody put more heart into this defense over the last 4 years and should get some love just off that alone. Like I said before, he isn't a bad player, but very unspectacular and doesn't often make great plays. You know what your gunna get from him, he will be in the right spot, he won't **** up, he just won't really make amazing plays either.
