We can safely assume that is off our list of possible destinations as Clemson has forgotten how to take care of the football in the 4th quarter. Improves our chances of winning our 10th game elsewhere though for you optimist out there which I am okay with

would prefer it to the citrus bowl, that **** hole, I said after the Wisky game, I'll never go back to that place.

Clemson will go to the Orange, FSU will go to the NC we get the Chick-fil-A

Are you sure that's how it works?

the only team they really have to worry about taking their BCS bid is Oregon. NIU will get one spot because they'll finish ahead of UCF in the polls. Since the Orange Bowl has the first pick and will probably scoop up Bama and a Bama/Oregon game may seem interesting in theory. However the Orange knows Clemson travels well so it'll probably be a Bama/CU OBG imo.

If it's between Clemson and Oregon, they're taking Oregon.

Nah. They will stay loyal to the ACC and take Clemson.

You do realize UCF is in an automatic conference so them and NIU don't mean anything to each other.

Yes they certainly do mean something to each other, at least for this year. Unless NIU is in the top 12, they need to be top 16 (which they are) AND finish ahead of another BCS conference champion which they currently are (UCF) otherwise they might not get an at-large.

Fresno State is the one knocked out of the BCS.

I think we will play Louisville in Orlando. Should be a good game actually.

they do mean something to each other, since NIU will be ranked higher than the AAC champ NIU will get one of the 4 available at large bids after the BIG12, SEC, PAC, & AAC take their spots (I'm assuming the ACC and BIG champs are in the BCSCG). So that leaves only three spots left since NIU now has a claim to one of the four at large spots to be split between Baylor, Bama, Clem, and Oregon.

It's not out of the question that the Chicken Bowl takes us over Clemson for the simple reason that Clemson played in the bowl last year, but I still think they'd take Clemson.
