Changes to staff coming?

LOL at that horrendous insider information. My grandmother and her bridge companions could have let us all in on that info.

For those paying attention, the excuse last year was that we were too experienced on defense. This year we returned almost the entire defense. So, I'm thinking the Duke debacle just confirmed what they were already suspicious of, namely that our coaches aren't very good.

The only part of this inside info I believe is about boosters being upset and having influence.

Im going with some form of formal scapegoating. Im gonna guess that its Jethro who gets thrown under the bus in an effort for Al to save his buddy's *** for another year.

My guess is that Jethro ends up with an NFL team on the west coast next year.

If he jettisons 1 or 2 position coaches for this I'm going to end up in jail.

D'Onofrio did work for Schiano at Rutgers, but he was only a positional coach.
Also, Rutgers' fans seem to think there is bad will between them as he apparently took a couple
of Jersey kids who were leaning to RU with him to UVA when he went to work for Al Groh.
 
I can see it now. He's going to throw Jethro & Barrow under the bus and bring in Vanderlinden & some guy to replace them.

I think Vanderlinden could do the job, but Golden needs to let him run the show on the defensive side of the ball.
And D'Onofrio needs to move on.
If Schiano or whomever takes over PennState blows up the current staff completely, I would also take the PSU DLine
coach, Larry Johnson.....great recruiter of the mid-atlantic plus great coach.
