Chances D'onofrio is fired mid season

Even a optimistic supporter can tell this guy is just never gunna have a elite defense. At his absolute best maybe he can field a top 25 defense but that's just wishful thinking. I know most of you really want D'onofrio gone, but do you think it's a realistic possibility that he gets fired mid season if we don't see a big upgrade? I have a hard time believing that golden would do that because he's so loyal, but golden isn't a stupid guy, he's gotta see the writing on the wall by now.

It's Golden's defense. D'Onofrio is running what Al wants. Do you believe that Golden is suddenly going to decide after 8 years with D'Onofrio as his DC, that he's going to fire him.?

Not going to happen.

And THIS is why I have great optimism that this will be Golden's last year. Trending (Golden's word) indicates our defense will once again suck more than a black hole, and that there will be great pressure to fire Dorito.

But Golden is butt-buddies with Dorito, so he'll take another job rather than fire his good buddy.

Golden's fatal flaw is his loyalty - even to his own destruction.

D'onofrio is gunna be fired before Golden, either after the season or during it.
 
There is as much chance of D'onfrio being fired mid season as there is of the us winning the 2014 World Cup

I think there is a chance Al gets fired mid-season if HIS defense continues to suck and last year's collapse jumps onto this season. Al has made it clear he will not fire Mark. And since this is Al defense that makes sense. So if Al makes it pass mid-season so does Mark.

We don't see eye to eye often, but I'm in total agreement about Golden's flaw.

Al knows right now at this very moment that he's going to be forced to fire Donofrio at the end of the season. It's one of the reasons why he tried to jet to Penn State. Buy himself and his pal some more time before the country wakes up and realizes what a fraud he is. Two years from now, Golden will be head coach at the university of who gives a ****.
