Seen this too many times. This one isn’t over till the ink is dry
Whoa, whoa, whoa…we’ve had stability at QB, too; now, stability at OC, play calling is a different story.
I mean we have two over 700 and one at 530 to be fair, yards by the top 3 haven’t been an issue at all. But they’re on the field 95% of the time lol
And to the other comment’s point, there are 11 teams in FBS with 3 500+ receivers.
Man you just wrote a lot of stuff replying to someone that completely agrees with you lolOK, well here’s the thing:
Miami currently have 2 players w/ a 15.0+ avg., Ole Miss have 9.
Ole Miss under Kiffin has created explosive play opportunities for their WRs. To our WRs credit, they’ve been much better in tunnel screens today than in years past, and both X & George have done a great job in shedding missed tackles.
However, we play in a phone booth, brotha. Very rare are our guys going out more than 15 yards for a reception. George has two long TDs on his record: the missed tackle from A&M & the blown angle vs. FSU. That’s outstanding & looks good on paper, but u’re absolutely fooling urself in to thinking that our O is on Ole Miss’ level right now.
U guys get caught up in raw stats v. the game itself. It’s like when I kept telling the board Rambo is at best an end of the day 2 or day 3 guy, & were shocked he didn’t get drafted. lol Ya’ll look at raw stats vs. details.
Ole Miss is 13th in total O, we’re 32nd; however, they are
-16th in Passing
-7th in passing yards/completion
-8th in passing efficiency
We’re
-39th in Passing
-62nd in passing yards/completion
-49th in passing efficiency
Ole Miss runs a much, much, MUCH more pass, WR friendly offense than we do. We run a very stagnant system that requires our WRs to do a lot of YACs. Furthermore, all 3 of Ole Miss top WRs have multiple 100+ yard games.

What if I told u Lane’s O has produced 3 WRs that have 700+ yards in receiving?

Did this reaffirmation take place yet?
Going to have to give that one a tryWell, it’s for the board to see. My bad, I’m all jacked up on DayQuil & Jack Daniels so I mostly likely misread ur post, or responded to the wrong one. lol
But yeah, our WRs have had to work hard for their yards.
I’m not kissing anything until we win 10 games PLUS a bowl.
I know Nyquil and Jack haven't tried DayquilGoing to have to give that one a try
