Chaminade Madonna -vs- American Heritage. (9/22)

I know we have great WR prospects committed, but Schwartz is going to be a great football player for someone. Maybe, he will switch to track at some point, but he will be a productive football player until that point.

AH has to decline after this season because there is no way they can replace (or even come close to replacing) Nesta, Tyson Campbell, PS2, Chatfield, Schwartz, and even the QB because even if they recruit their asses off, they won't find players like the aforementioned.

Won't be the major issue as they have a middle school, freshman, and JV team. They recruit and playing football comes with a free $40k a year education at one of the top schools in the country. The real issue will be how long will PS1 stick around and coach once his son is gone? He leaves and so will a lot of the kids.

They don't have freshman football, their middle school team is hot garbage (all middle school football is), and their JV team has about 20 kids on it, most of whom will not be football players for AH. Even if they give out scholies (which they do), those guys will be tough to replace.

I'm not saying he's only a track guy I just think with his track talent eventually he will realize that and stick with track...

i think so..If thats the case he needs to pick a program with a bonafide track team...maybe LSU, Or Texas...instate i believe UF may be the best last i recall.

Miami has a better track team than UF. UM's track coach, coached the U.S. Olympic team in the last Olympics.

Lmao....the gators men's team has won 4 out the last 6 national championships.

You must have me confused with someone not wearing caneshades! UM will always be better than the Turds.

247 must be on some serious ish because they see 17 better DL prospects in the country than Nesta.....dude is a top 5 DL prospect easy

Outside of FSU nobody in the ACC really has a good mens track team. Track is huge in the SEC on the other hand.

I'm not sure why it matters though. Ohio St and Clemson recruit well with bad track teams. Bama's isn't really great either.

And Miami still has a history of football guys doing track. Lingard and possibly Campbell will do track here too.

Everything that's been reported on Schwartz is that our coaches just aren't interested, but PAR will try to spin it into a track issue I'm sure

The only person spinning anything here is you. My concern/ hope is Miami is always a front runner in the team speed department. Team speed is very important when It comes to building championship level teams. That along with NFL caliber athletes coaching etch etc.

We have fans we get ****ed or don't like the NFL U moniker. Sorry but if you don't have NFL type talent on your team you aren't winning the national championship... which is the goal of most normal hurricane fans.

So...... when you see me harping about speed it's because I want Miami to be in the forefront in that department along with having NFL caliber athletes and coaching. ****, I wanna see Miami dominate not just win.

To many one way ****'s around here who look at chit the wrong way without asking or just don't even know what they don't know.

So called Miami fans don't even realize that Miami's championship teams all have great team speed, excellent coaching, heady qb play, NFL caliber athletes at skill position/ trenches etc. etc.

I agree Wingz, they caught lightning in a bottle with their last few graduating classes. AH was horrible to mediocre for a long time before those kids got there, I can definitely see them going back...

A little FYI because I know a lot of you talk about getting that old school Miami swagger back

ESPN said they do something similar to a questionnaire to learn about these kids more. They asked Nesta who his favorite player was and he told them that he was his favorite player and he's the best...

Hope he reached his full potential unlike the last recruit to make that statement

My man, I don't think you completely understand. If he picks up our playbook fast(he can't be an EE), he's going to be in the 2 deep first game and even if he doesn't he'll be in it by the end of the year....as I'm typing this he just got his 3rd TFL

It's only the 2nd quarter

I appreciate you not killing me, due to the fact of my low post count. I just remember the last recruit who said "Im a beast, so Im rolling with the []_[]."

I know its two different positions, but I hope you can see where im coming from. Guess im just jaded from the last 15v years. I want him to be 76...

Bad comparison. Players have nothing to do with each other. Different coaching staffs. The quotes aren't even that similar.

yup, thought he said "im a beast" similiar to what Dye said. Dye ranked hire than Silvera nationally, at time of signing. Hopefully youre correct about the staff. Like I said i hope he turns out to be like 76

HORRIBLE.

They could very well go back to that soon...They have to keep up with the Joneses. Atleast in the Ft Lauderdale hurricane group they were able to grab one or 2 kids. But their problem will forever be OL...they have to recruit OL from Other schools EVERY season. Surtain aint the reason kids are their..they caught lightning in a bottle with USchool being down, Plantation still being down (theyll get 2 -3 kids from there), and a good amount of their kids playing on the same optomist teams either for Rumph or some of the other coaches they have like Chad Wilson.

An advantage they do have is that i know my OPTOMIST LEAGUE plays our Super Bowl in Plantation at Pal Field...so they typically have coaches at the Super Bowl games and they are looking at the 13u and unlimited teams. Also Plantation has a pretty good 12u or 13 u team if i can recall...so alot of high schools will jump on those kids.

God bless IbisWingz for bringing us Silvera a couple years ago when no one was talking about him.

Fake ESPN game of the week because the way inferior nothing team that has no business playing on national tv has a bammer croot,

God bless IbisWingz for bringing us Silvera a couple years ago when no one was talking about him.

i brought him up even before Ibis. But Ibis is plugged in at Ah like i was at the time.

Yes, sir. I remember you talking about Nesta as an OL. Wingz was the first to give him plaudits and recognize him as a great DT, which, thankfully, is the position he'll be playing for us. That's why I credit Wingz.
