You know what, Cook is the best local player this year, with Chad being second, and it would sting to lose him, but because of our make a wish foundation special needs on the DL, not getting Chad would have been worse.
 
Early in the process I legitimately thought we would lose him to FSU.

Man I couldn't be happier to be wrong. He's been a dream recruit.

Miami has a great School of Music with state of the art facilities and equipment, Thomas might make more money from that then playing football.

You guys realize it is perfect within our right to get Chad AND Cook, right? It's not one or the other?

As great as it is to bring in an elite talent like Chad, it still hurts to lose in Cook to our rival.

Our DTs are the most important recruits in this class, but Chad it the BEST. He is a beast and with some decent DT pay will remind us of our great DEs of old. Cook is something special and you have to want him, but it would hurt much more to lose Chad than not get Cook. We have Duke, Joe and Brandon. We don't have any DE that can pick up a 360lbs all start lineman and dump him on the QB like CHad did at the Opening over and over again.
