This game is dead even but the pundits are already typing up their “SMU didn’t deserve to get in” articles.

At the end of the day, SMU’s big contribution was that they did just enough to keep Alabama out of the playoff. That is all.

Well he’s been a qb and wr since he was a kid so one year of rb at a p4 level leaves room for improvement. It’s also hard to get in a lather when your qb is throwing pick 6’s like a mad man. Too bad we didn’t move him when I was begging coaches two years ago. Oh well.
