It’s actually very ironic that for years we’ve been saying we’ve had bad coaching teaching less than stellar recruits compared to the top dogs but here is SMU in the playoff with a handful of our old players led by our former coach. Something in the water in Coral Gables..

It was the university waiting too long to take things serious and sitting on a gold mine of a brand that caused all this sh. Now they want to take sh serious and have to overspend and play catch up. This wont be the norm for SMU, arriving and staying near the top yearly means you have arrived. If we follow up next year with another 10 win season you can probably start to say we have arrived. But you have to do it for awhile imo, one good year is good but to annually do it is whats key.

mission for me is to win consistently first then eventually win the natty, if next year they miss the playoffs this is for nothing. But thats the way I think, some people think differently and thats fine by me.

Searching for the big play. These are the games you HAVE to take what the Defense gives you and on 4th & 1 you gotta get that 1st down.

I think jitters are also a factor so hopefully they can settle in before PSU does

I like Jennings a lot. Once Lashlee changed up to more of a running up tempo that really turned the season around for them cause those first 2 or maybe 3 games they looked like cr@p on offense
