Are you talking the Wisconsin game ? Because it was freezing there . Wisconsin fans by me was saying we left the freezing cold to come to Florida to freeze our asses off. The wind was brutal. Devoutly not in the 50’s brother. The players came out for warmups with no shirts on and I was like here we go again lol.
That was about as cold as I’ve ever felt in Florida and I’ve lived here for almost 50 years. I rode one of those rickshaws through the hood back and I think my eyelids were frozen open by the time I reached the hotel.

It’s like people haven’t been outside in South Florida when it hits 65 — people are dressed like they are about to go on an expedition of the North Pole.
Swings and roundabouts isn't it?

I was sweating my balls off in November in Miami.

I'm from a place where 20C happens for about 20 days a year.

**** no. This conference sucks. I wouldn't root for their **** sucking HC if he was the last coach alive. **** clemzon
Miami is tied to the ACC. The current and possibly future state of the program may rest on perceptions of the ACC. Being able to land a spot in the Big 10 may depend on it as well. This attitude is like rooting for the Titanic to sink while you're standing on its deck with no life boats. What is it with the short-sighted personal resentments blinding people to the bigger picture?

I only wore a light hoodie and the wind was cutting through my soul . What made it worse was Coop shredded his knee and then I had to sit there and wait the game out knowing we’d lose. But it was a one possession game so we technically had a chance.

Winds up to 35 mph. We had players in fur coats huddling around the heaters in the Champs Sport Bowl in Orlando in 2009 it was a low of like 58 that game lol
I was at that game. It was 40s, at night, and consistent 25 mph wind.

This is 15 mph with gusts to 35 and the sun is out. I played football in the snow … if the sun is out it’s not cold at that temp

I went with a friends son on a visit to Georgia Southern a weeks ago and it was at night. Low 30’s sitting still on metal bleachers. God I wish the son was out.

Replace Indiana and SMU and either Arizona St or Boise St and replace with Miami, Alabama, USC and Ole Miss and you’d be onto something.

14 teams is doable. But the key is the right 14 teams.

IMO, go to 14 teams, give byes to SEC and BiG (that’ll be required)
Guarantee home games for the two best conference champions and then allow the 5th champion in (but no bye/home game) and fill the rest with the best. Miami would have been in this year with a 14 team bracket. Js.

When you go against the best teams in college football there is a certain level of trench play you must have or you will not stand a chance. Us, GT and Clemson are the only 3 teams in the ACC who have that.
