Luis is a S-T-U-D!
He had some serious shin issues that held him back in years past. I asked why he wasn't a Cane on here. I never got a direct answer, but I always thought posters alluded to character issues. That may have been true. But Pitino has him in check.
He's grown tremendously as a player the past two seasons. Kid is very passionate about his craft. Supreme athlete. Luis has hops, oulls down a lot of boards, has a decent three, solid mid range game, can break you down off the dribble, and take you to the hole. His defense is getting better, but he is foul prone, and can let his emotions get the better of him.
We can run with anyone in America. Our two losses were by a combined four points, on the road, in the Bahamas. Baylor beat us on a buzzer beating three, by one, in double OT. We blew an 18 point lead to Georgia two days later...
I think we dance. How far we go? Hmmm. I think we can go Sweet Sixteen / Elite Eight if clicking on all cylinders.
