Every team has had bad games. Texas only put up 15 and 19 on UGA and beat Vandy 27-24 and beat Arkansas 20-10 and beat Texas a&m 17-7.

Penn State beat Minnesota 26-25 and beat USC 33-30.

Don't think either of those teams would "boat race" us.

These games are exposing a truth most of this board refuses to accept. Long term program building a recruiting wins these kinds of games. Not the flash in the pan teams that are slobbered over on this board. oh look what SMU did...look at what Indiana did. All to get destroyed by bigger stronger teams who have been building for years. You dont build a real program by trying to make the playoff. You build it to try and WIN the playoff. Those 2 things are not the same. Remember TCU...what about Michigan St a few years back.
