CFP Roster breakdown by "stars" - from Rivals

Why would getting out of the ACC help our recruiting?
Not trying to be funny.
Serious question because I don't know.
I agree with this, but I also know if a kid is getting recruited by a certain schools in certain conferences they may get a bump if they are fringe 4 star and 3 star players.

We have to get out of this dead conference. Some of you may think that it doesn't matter but it really has an impact of how well we're able to recruit. Not making excuses here but why I feel we may never recruit like the "big dogs" in the top 4-5 classes. We'll be fringe Top 10 until we do.

It’s the only thing that matters. The reputation gap and financial gap are both growing each year.

It’s like slower than light travel an expanding universe… Miami can move to the top of the ACC but still be further from the top nationally.

fckn nfl roster...
death to taint
How many of those five stars are in the wide receiver room?

It’s like USC a little over a decade ago. They had ten blue chip running backs one season! Sound great….what a roster! Until you then realize:

1. Ten running backs on an 85 man roster for a team not running a wishbone / triple option is absolutely overkill and compromising depth in other areas.
2. Only 2-3 of those blue chip running backs were ever going to see the field that season
