They are power 4 so it is what it is. It doesn’t need to be bigger than 6. There aren’t 8+ teams that can legit win a championship

I know what you are saying, I just disagree that a field of only six is big enough to give auto bids. There are too many teams in the B1G and SEC that would be favorites to beat conference champs from the big12 and ACC to do that. If we want teams that can actually win it in the games that is.

So the options are leave out conference champs that don’t stand a chance, or put in too many, and I’ll take more playoff games instead of less even if a couple of them are easy wins.
