People often times think of SS like Kam Chancellor, and view it strictly as "run support" while FS is predominantly the pass coverage safety of the two. While that is true, the SS is the guy that is typically more predominantly in man with TEs and slot WRs if in base vs 3 wide, and just overall more involved with the defensive plays while FS is more the deep last line of defense typically. Strong in Strong safety referred to them lining up on the strong side (the TE side). But more and more now defenses don't really have much of a difference between what they ask both safeties to do. Like if you're running Cover 1 or 3 yeah the FS and SS role are different where the FS is the traditional Earl Thomas/Kerby Joseph type of "center fielder". Definitely don't think Damari fits that mold. He'd be a SS here technically, I think. Though it likely doesn't even really matter tbh.
And of course Zaquon who is best in the box would obviously be a SS or the "rover" role - we called it Striker under Diaz which is the LB sub when teams are in 3wide but you don't want to run pure nickel (3 CBs) D....
