Anyone with a brain can see Wisky pressured and manipulated the kid with some slick talk..it's so obvious.
All Wisky did was set their recruiting back by about a decade. Kids talk, handlers talk.. they'll see.

As his lawyer said, the rev share was a Memorandum of Understanding with ZERO enforceability. I create LOIs and MOUs all the time in business. They're legal toilet paper. Their value is in aligning the two parties on expectations and facilitating real contract negotiations down the road.

Why would you try to force someone who didnt want to be there to stay anyway.. Thats just a recipe for disaster

Thx for confirming that first thought of mine. Was going out and only saw the news sporadically. Read something about a signed revenue-share and was like "Wait, that's not a thing yet."

I think Wisconsin needs to take a very serious look into their legal representation. That was awful.
The thing is they are using a big ten conference template I’ve read, so wow, how may others are like this

Poor wife is sleeping so peacefully next to me.

Wakey wakey.

NIL isn't unlimited. We may have had to choose between Cam and a stud DB or two. And if that was the case, I'm glad we went the route we did.
They identified bad talent as good talent for the secondary and didn’t bring in what was needed in quantity or quality. Thats ultimately a big part of why we didn’t get into the playoffs.

Soo…… how many violations did Wisconsin commit during this process?
Exactly. Their idiotic fans keep trying to claim Lucas took money related to the revenue sharing "contract". Of course, if that were true it would mean Wisconsin not only violated NCAA rules, but possibly the law as well since the revenue sharing rule has not yet been finalized and enacted. So if Wisky itself paid him, the school is in violation. More likely, Wisky did not pay him, and their real issue is trying to hold him to an MOU that is predicated on the revenue sharing rule being passed in the near future. They also broke the NCAA stating a school MUST submit a student athlete's portal paperwork within 2 days. A rule that has no language related to exceptions or instances where the school can deny it

I can’t believe they’re as stupid as they are apparently.

Wisky is writing a book on how not to handle recruiting and managing a roster in today's NCAA landscape. Whomever is advising them really should be fired.
